Webull Stock Trading App
I have used Webull stock trading app for 12 months. Initially, I deposited $1,500 with an intention to purchase relatively known stocks to test the trading features and speed of withdrawals. Today, my account is currently valued $1387. This included a withdrawal of $250 to test another stock trading app. In the past 12 months, I’ve made good and bad trades but my account grew in value with my conservative approach.

Is Webull good for beginners?
Webull can be overwhelming for beginners. I certainly felt that way even with some exerpeince. Although I am more of a passive investor than an active one. There are two great features for beginners: paper trading and community chats.
With paper trading, you can learn how to trade and practice without using your real money. This helps you learn how to use the apps and read the charts. Community chats allow you to interact with other traders, but I warn you there isn’t much educating as there is bragging.
Does Webull allow day trading?
Webull was made for day trading with its in-depth analytics and research tools. However, there are limits. If you have an account less than $25,000 you are limited to 3 day trades within 5 successive business days. For accounts over $25,000, you have unlimited day trading access.
Is Webull really free?
Yes, Webull offers free trading. They do not charge commissions for trading stocks, ETFs and options listed on U.S. exchanges. However, fees are still assessed by the SEC, FINRA and OCC, the regulatory agencies. You’ll notice small amounts starting at $0.01 and based on volume.

If you’re looking to actively trade, read charts, and research opportunities, then Webull is the clear winner. Webull is best for day traders.
Is Webull a legitimate Company?
Webull is a legitimate company. Webull Financial LLC is a US-based broker-dealer and member of FINRA, SIPC and NASDAQ headquartered at 44 Wall Street, New York City. Learn more with FINRA’s BrokerCheck. They are also a member of SIPC which protects securities of customers up to $500,000 ($250,000 of cash)
The company is both a US and Chinese corporation. The technology team is based in Hunan, China with all customer-facing and brokerage operations in NYC.
What are Webull’s brokerage services?
Webull helps you perform both fundamental and technical analysis:
- Access to analyst recommendations, revenue, and historical earnings per share data
- Get key statistics, insider trades, stock quotes, and information such as earnings, dividends, and stock splits.
- Feeds to track news that could affect your stocks.
- Provides a real-time bar and line charts: time frames ranging from 1 to 60 minutes and historical data set going back in the past 5 years or more.
- Use popular indicators such as Bollinger Bands, MACD, and more.
Is Webull really safe and secure
Webull, a member of the SIPC, offers up to $500,000 protection of account assets of which $250,000 in cash is protected. Additionally, Webull’s Clearing Firm offers additional insurance protection. Does Webull offer margin accounts?
Webull offers a margin account with no minimum required. However, there is a minimum of $2000 to use leverage and short. To trade on margin, there are no fees but you’ll pay interest based on how much you leverage (borrow from Webull).
Can you trade options on Webull?
Yes, Webull option trading is available. Options allow you to take advantage of both sides of the market with calls and puts. If you think the market will go up or down, then you can trade options using Webull.
Option trading is generally for more experienced traders.
How can you start with Webull?
