Internal Transfer

With an internal transfer, you move part or all the value of a marketable security from one TreasuryDirect account to another. For a partial internal transfer, you must transfer at least $100 and leave at least $100 of the current value of the security. An internal transfer automatically changes the ownership of the security from one account holder to another.
